Ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and has an innate desire to learn about how technology is changing the world. The Account Coordinator will report directly to Senior Account Executives, providing support for daily tasks and initiatives.

 

Reports to: Senior Account Executive

 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing meeting agendas, meeting reports, recaps and other client communications and correspondence.

  • Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls.

  • Researching and keeping up with news and trends for each client account, providing account leads with fresh ideas and information pertaining to each client’s industry

  • Assist with organizing, managing and updating internal media lists

  • Supporting team in event planning and logistics

  • Developing relationships with editors, reporters, and bloggers within b2b and b2c space

  • Ideating new pitch angles and stories for PR outreach

  • Ensuring that all internal databases are updated

 

Qualifications

  • Experience – Minimum of 1 year PR and  communications experience (preferably in an agency or in-house setting)

  • College graduate, preferably with a  bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism

  • Strong interest in technology, demonstrate a clear understanding or passion to learn about how things work and the impact it can have on our lives and the way we do business

  • Ability to perform well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and support senior team members  

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High level of organization

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong work ethic

  • High competency level on computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities

  • Professional conduct within and outside office while conducting agency business

  • Communications – general knowledge of all tools used to  support communications and branding campaigns (i.e., media relations, social media, collateral, events, Internet, grassroots, etc.)

  • Writing – news-writing (including Associated Press style format); copy (including newsletters, presentations, proposals, etc.); press material (releases, one-sheets)
